The Shaka process utilizes a reciprocating actuator to agitate the containers back and forth vigorously. This Shaka agitation causes a through mixing of the product which increases heat transfer. The better heat transfer allows for faster come-up times and better product quality. Because the agitation is linear, all containers are subjected to the same agitation forces.
