Pro Mach, Inc. announced today that Chairman and Chief Executive Officer John W. Paxton Sr. is turning over CEO duties to current President and Chief Operating Officer Mark Anderson. Mr. Paxton will remain with Pro Mach as Chairman. Mr. Anderson will become the President and CEO.

The economic stimulus package signed into law February 13 contains two business related tax incentives to encourage capital spending, such as retorts and retorts accessories. The tax incentives lower capital purchase costs by providing a bonus depreciation for 2008 and by raising deduction amounts. These incentives are available to all companies, but particularly benefit small and mid-sized companies who have an opportunity to make investments that otherwise would be delayed or impossible to make this year.

Allpax Products, a division of Pro Mach, has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Zinetec Ltd. of Oxfordshire, England, to become the sole U.S. licensee of the Shaka batch retort process, which significantly reduces sterilization times, improving the taste, color, texture and mouth feel of shelf-stable products.
